With Version 1.5's release just days away, Zenless Zone Zero has unveiled the complete kit for upcoming S-Rank character Astra Yao. The update will bring new characters, more story content, and the game's first rerun banners. Astra Yao, alongside Evelyn Chevalier, are the first members of the "Stars of Lyra" faction, with HoYoverse detailing Astra Yao's gameplay ahead of her debut.
Astra Yao has appeared in the game before, with teasers and advertisements in Lumina Square and a short story segment in Version 1.4. Now, HoYoverse is providing an in-depth look at her abilities. Her kit includes the Additional Ability that benefits Attack or Anomaly characters, and her Special Attack, "Windchimes and Oaths," activates a state called "Idyllic Cadenza," enhancing her and her team's damage while on the field.
Astra Yao will be Zenless Zone Zero's first S-Rank Ether Support character, offering flexibility with both Attack and Anomaly units. Her debut in Version 1.5 on January 22 will also feature the game's first character skins, including a new outfit for Astra Yao and additional skins for characters like Nicole and Ellen. Version 1.5 promises to be a substantial update filled with new content for players.
