First released in 2012, Bandai's "Metal Build" Freedom Gundam gets a refreshed and upgraded release! Among other changes, its armor design has been updated for a sharper appearance; it has new chest parts, the shoulder armor can open at the front, and the articulation of the knees and lower leg armor has been improved. The two wings open out into a total of ten wings, made of metal alloy and with silver lining added for a sharp impression. A railgun and plasma beam cannon on its waist are new additions; both weapons are expandable, and parts that were previously not made of metal will now be made from metal for a more luxurious appearance.
